Chopstix Clicks Sticks With Louise Thompson To Launch New Skinny Rice

Pan-Asian noodle chain Chopstix is ready to ‘wok’ and roll as it joins forces with Louise Thompson to launch its brand-new Skinny Rice.

When it comes to fitness inspirations and making smarter choices, Louise Thompson knows a thing or two.

Her radiant positivity and energy made her the perfect choice to launch the new Skinny Rice at Chopstix, showing that healthy choices don’t have to be boring!

Louise Thompson has come a long way since first appearing on-screen in Made In Chelsea, having now established herself as a powerhouse businesswoman and influencer on the health circuit. She discovered her love for fitness and has overhauled her lifestyle as a result, also inspiring others to do so.

Perfect for those looking to click their sticks, whilst making smarter choices that don’t scrimp on flavour, the Chopstix Skinny Rice is a fantastic fusion of garlic, ginger, red & green peppers and mixed vegetables sauteed with cauliflower rice, secret recipe noodle sauce and seasoning to create a full flavoured base containing just 100 calories.

Celebrating the humble cauliflower, the Skinny Rice is also packed full of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that is important for the immune system, eyes, cartilage, iron absorption and healthy skin, among other things. Whilst many regard oranges as the most Vitamin C rich option, cauliflower beats it, offering up with 46.4 mg (77%) per 100g.

Alongside the Skinny Rice, Chopstix has also launched a Reduced Calorie Menu, seeing a range of much-loved Chopstix classic dishes including Salt and Pepper Chicken, Teriyaki Beef and Chinese Chicken Curry.

Each dish comes in below the 500 calorie mark when enjoyed with Skinny Rice, allowing diners to stick to making informed choices without compromising on flavour.

In fact, a small box of Chinese Chicken Curry with Skinny Rice is only 231 cals! In fact, no other high street takeaway brand offers such low calories options across their full menu.

Rob Burns, marketing director for Chopstix, said; “Takeaway Asian food can sometimes be considered to be quite calorific and, whilst that can be great for a Friday night treat or a lunch out with friends, we have been introducing healthier dishes for our more health-conscious diners to enjoy every day for a while now.”

“We are really pleased with how it looks and tastes, and when paired with our low calorie dishes, you can make smart, informed choices that make a grab and go lunch, or a tasty weekend treat without having to cut corners. When it came to the launch of our Skinny Rice, we knew Louise Thompson would be the perfect choice!”

Chopstix is focused on delivering a faster, fresher, tastier alternative to the high street. Wok Master chefs deliver nourishing noodles, wholesome chicken, beautiful beef and perfect prawns with fresh vegetables and superb sauces to make Chopstix the ‘go to guys’ for boxed fresh flavour.
