The Indoor Cycling Group (ICG®) has partnered with Fitness Fiesta for a second consecutive year, to deliver interactive group cycling classes at events across the UK.
Fitness Fiesta brings together anyone with an interest in fitness to showcase the latest trends and innovations in group exercise; a training method that continues to grow in popularity and was recently named in second place in the American College of Sports Medicine’s Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends for 2019.
First launched in 2000, Fitness Fiesta events now attract over 10,000 instructors and enthusiasts every year, with partners that include founders of the INSANITY® workout, Beachbody, and global group training provider, Les Mills.
The partnership with ICG will continue with the first event of 2019 being held in February at Beaumont House in Windsor, where more than 350 spaces will be available in multiple classes delivered across the three days.
Attendees will use the award-winning IC7 indoor cycle, that incorporates ICG’s pioneering design and functionality with the latest in training technology. Class participants will also train using ICG’s Coach by Color® system, a self-powered console that delivers real-time, colour-coded biofeedback to accurately coach the user’s effort for effective, customised results.
ICG remains the world’s largest organisation specialising in the design, manufacture and programming of indoor cycling equipment and, in 2016, was acquired by Life Fitness’ parent company Brunswick Corporation, joining Hammer Strength, Cybex and SCIFIT as part of Life Fitness’ global brand portfolio.
Commenting on today’s announcement of the continued partnership, Andy Lucas, Director of Fitness Fiesta, said: “Following overwhelming positive feedback about the ICG experiences provided at Fitness Fiesta during 2018, we’re delighted to continue the relationship throughout 2019. The ICG offering is so diverse and unique that I can honestly say that indoor cycling as never been as popular at Fitness Fiesta.
“Our events are all about trying something new, learning and training in an exciting and energetic environment – ICG fits perfectly with this and we’re anticipating a high demand again for our group cycling classes!”
Doyle Armstrong, Core ICG Business Manager for Life Fitness, said “The Fitness Fiesta events are a fantastic platform for us to give opportunity to a great number of riders, both instructors and enthusiasts, to experience all that ICG has to offer. The ICG offering gives riders the chance to partake in 4 very unique indoor cycling experiences that are lovingly crafted by our wonderfully talented ICG UK Master Trainer team.
