Welcome To A New Era Of Home Workouts: Game Mode. ON

game mode ON Fiit

The UK’s most popular fitness app – Fiit – launches Fiit Club, the UK’s first-ever live leaderboard HIIT classes.

Pushing the boundaries of the interactive fitness movement, Fiit Club lets members train with the most in-demand trainers and compete with fitness lovers anywhere in the world – without leaving their living room.

Training with other people is one of the key motivators to not only show up to a class — but to push ourselves harder.

Fiit points will be displayed on a live leaderboard throughout the class. The more points you score, the higher up the leaderboard you climb.

“Fiit Club rewards effort not your fitness level. You score Fiit Points during a class by keeping your heart rate in the zone.

The more points you score, the higher up the leaderboard you climb. So anyone can reach the top spot if they put in the work.” Gede Foster, Head of Fitness

“User data continually feeds our heart rate zoning algorithms to ensure high levels of accuracy and a fair experience on the leaderboard.

A person’s heart rate reserve will change as their fitness level and cardiovascular health improve — our technology predicts their minimum and maximum heart rate class by class.”

Calvin Giles, Data Scientist

Over this last year we have seen a resurgence of at-home workouts, with many realising that people need solutions at the touch of a button.

Pushing the boundaries of the interactive fitness movement, Fiit Club offers its members to be part of the movement by launching the UK’s first Live Leaderboard classes, allowing people to workout with others from around the world from the comfort of their living room.

Five brand new concepts have been designed to challenge and push users to their limits.

There are cardio-based classes and don’t require any equipment. Work to your max effort to climb up the leaderboard but don’t sacrifice form.

Classes are scheduled 5 times a day. The Fiit device (a combined heart rate tracker and accelerometer worn around the chest) enables members to join Fiit Club classes and participate in the live leaderboard.

Dynamic heart rate zoning – developed by Fiit’s in-house data scientists — is unique for each user, and is predicted based on factors such as performance in previous classes, as well as the performance of others in the same class.

  • POWER – Go hard from the start. Power through a circuit of explosive moves then build speed and strength. Level up with intense intervals in the finisher
  • HI-LO – From start to finish you will be taken up and down, and around with a flat-blitzing circuit. Drive the heart rate up and drop your body low to push yourself to its limits
  • REMIX – Go beyond your comfort zone and challenge your body moving through 4 different training zones
  • ELEVATE – Build speed and strength as you take on the three peaks of a pyramid
  • RELENTLESS – 25 mins of back-to-back moves without stopping. Build Stamina. Amp up endurance.

Fiit Club launches 14 months after Fiit interrupted the traditional gym model with on-demand interactive fitness classes.

The innovative technology signals a new era in home fitness. Training with other people is one of the key motivators to not only show up to a class — but to push ourselves harder.

Fiit points will be displayed on a live leaderboard throughout the class. The more points you score, the higher up the leaderboard you climb.

Each class will be led by two of Fiit’s instructors, including Adrienne Herbert, Gede Foster, Jamie Ray, Courtney Fearon, Lawrence Price, Chessie King and Gabby Allen.

Workouts will be scheduled five times a day and members can choose from five brand new class concepts for 25 minutes of highly efficient, highly entertaining cardio training.
