Break your workouts into smaller parts –

It’s not always possible to do a long workout, so try doing exercising in shorter bursts. HIIT training is the best way to save time and sneak exercise into your day.

Interval training is a great way to increase your fitness levels and calorie burn and it’s performed by alternating intense periods of physical activity with short periods of rest so that your body can recover briefly before you up the intensity again.

Not only is this style of working out a great time saver, its brilliant for building endurance and boosting the metabolism.

Get Creative –

Being isolated at home, with no access to equipment might be a strange adjustment to make for those of you who are regular gym goers. But, a good alternative is to have a look around the house to find everyday items to integrate into your workout such as replacing your kettlebell for pet food or using a sofa to perform dips.

Catch some Z’s –

Sleep is one of the most important aspects to a productive day, if not the most important. By getting 7-9 hours sleep every night, your body will recover better and your mind will be clearer to tackle everyday tasks.

Be positive –

It may seem like an obvious lifestyle hack, but having a positive mental attitude has more of an impact than you may realise, enabling you to be less anxious throughout the day and allowing you to visualise yourself succeeding.

Write it out –

By sticking to realistic healthy habits and daily plans, it will quickly become a natural way of life. It is important that you don’t beat yourself up if you miss a workout or realise that your goals weren’t as attainable as you first thought.

Plan, prepare and portion –

For many people to ensure that you are eating nutritional meals and snacks, it is a good idea to plan ahead of time and portion them for the week ahead. This will also help save time and money.

Hydrate –

Our body is largely made up of water, so it is imperative that you drink around 2litres of water throughout the day. If you find yourself struggling to do this, keep a glass of water by your bed to drink first thing in the morning to start your day off right.
