the CC Foundation 1 e1639417227640

With a goal of feeding 10,000 mouths this Christmas, the CC Foundation is urgently asking the nation to donate money, for turkeys and vegan alternatives, to help communities who will struggle to feed their families across the UK.

The initiative is part of an annual pledge to lend a hand to those in need. With 1.48million families being currently unemployed in 2021, the initiative is intended to bring joy on Christmas Day.

This year’s Turkey Drive will be supported by stars such as Raheem Sterling, Ed Sheeran, and Anthony Joshua.

This a fantastic cause and I’m really honoured to be a part of it for a second year.”

Led by artist and entrepreneur Fekky, the CC Foundation initiative consists of a nationwide distribution of turkeys to food banks on 22nd December, with the stars personally delivering the turkeys and vegan alternatives to their own local communities across the UK on 22nd, 23rd, and 24th December.

With the support of communication agency MSL, as part of their youth collaboration with SUPA Network, the foundation aims to raise donations, which can be done via the CC Foundation website or through a scannable QR code in Absurd Bird restaurants across London, Exeter, Leeds and Glasgow.

To learn more about the programme or to instantly donate please visit the CC Foundation website.

Donations are being accepted up until December 22nd, 2021.

Raheem Sterling“Now more than ever is a time for us all to give back to those in need in our communities. I am proud to be backing such an important initiative for another year.”

Fekky: “I feel so grateful to be in the position to be able to do this for a second year running as last year we helped so many. I also want to thank everyone who continues to get behind our nationwide giveaway and support the charity. It’s time to do more for our communities.”

The CC foundation, who launched the UK’s first laptop library this year, recognises the obstacles low-income, socio-economic areas face – the foundation strives to eradicate this by providing opportunities and lending a hand to those in these circumstances.
