Since the onset of the Coronavirus the amazing staff of the NHS have quite rightly been recognised as modern-day heroes.
And in these unprecedented times, it was always going to be difficult for any of us to show gratitude to our key workers, boohoo Group who wanting to show their immense gratitude for the incredible efforts the NHS and key workers are making every day to care for and save the lives of those effected have carefully been listening to requests from customers.
So boohoo having listened to their customer requests received asking for their support, many of which came directly from NHS staff.
They have been asked for help with the likes of the production of surgical scrubs, basic garments to wear under scrubs, the donation of tablets to help patients stay connected with their families and loved ones and donations to foodbanks.
Boohoo have amazingly responded to all these requests and continue to support as many as they possibly can.
This week boohoo are also launching a range of T-shirts and hoodies, from across the group, for which all proceeds from the sale of this product will be, donated to Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, Reg no 1049274.
Boohoo hope that also with the support of their amazing customers this will raise thousands of pounds to support their important work.
John Lyttle, boohoo CEO said: “Supporting causes and charities in the communities across the world where we do business, has always been a core part of our business.
The work of the front line medical staff in the NHS is just incredible and we are proud to play a small part in demonstrating our immense gratitude for all that they are doing. Thank you to each and everyone one them”
Rachel Laycock, Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager for Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, said: “We love the colourful T-shirt designs and we’re very honoured that boohoo Group have decided to donate proceeds from sales to our Charity.
On behalf of everyone in the Trust and at the Charity, we’d like to thank boohoo Group for their incredible support.”
Boohoo will be selling the T shirts across their sites from Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing, Nasty Gal, BoohooMAN, Miss Pap and Coast and will also be encouraging those that would rather not purchase an item to create their own, by repurposing an item they already own and donating directly to the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, they’ll also be sharing their favourites across their social channels.
The charity t-shirts and sweatshirts will be available across the group from Thursday 23rd April.
T-shirts are £10 and hoodies £20
