Come November, summer might feel like a long-distant memory, and our body is in need of rejuvenation, to top up the energy and also get healthier and fitter ahead of the Christmas season.
Adventure Yogi, one of the UK’s largest and oldest yoga retreat companies, designed two lovely yoga holidays for you to choose from to do just that, in a sunny, hospitable Morocco.
Choose from two yoga retreats in Morocco with Adventure Yogi this November – one in the mountains and one in the city, and enjoy late autumn, pre-Christmas sunny break not too far from home:
Autumn Yoga Retreat Atlas Mountains, Morocco: 3rd – 7th November 2022
This 5-day hiking and yoga break in the Atlas Mountains includes guided daily hikes which offer a great experience of local community and their warm hospitality, and of course lots of delicious mint tea.
Only 90 minutes away from Marrakech, the retreat venue featuring cosy, traditional kasbah accommodation, sits at 1820m altitude with spectacular views of the valleys offering fresh mountain air and spectacular views over Jbel Toubkal, the largest mountain in Northern Africa.
With day temperatures around 23 degrees at this time of year, allow your body to relax again in the warmth of the sun and let summer last a little bit longer.
Nourish your body&soul with seasonal, local organic food; expect a buffet of dried fruit and nuts, local loaves of bread, locally made nut butter, tagines of pulses, fresh aubergines, stews and salads.
Enjoy the scenery, the food, the culture, the hammams, hikes and of course, the yoga!
Autumn Yoga Retreat Marrakech: 19th – 26th November 2022
Enjoy a week of relaxation in classic Moroccan Berber style accommodation in Marrakech, with the breathtaking Atlas mountains in the background.
The authentically designed Berber retreat venue features ample yoga space, two pools, plenty of outdoor lounging and typical Moroccan courtyards.
There are three hours of yoga a day in the outdoor yoga Shala to re-energise and revitalise throughout the week. Enjoy three delicious meals a day and fabulous treatments in the spa area, with Hammam and hot tub.
There are plenty of other activities to do if you wish to be more adventurous; spend a day exploring and shopping around old Marrakesh souks (for your Xmas presents maybe?!); take a day trip to the stunning blue and white city of Essouira or take a day trip to the Atlas Mountains and visit Berber villages or experience the desert.
